WTO urged to break barrier of mistrust

At a conference at the Royal Institute for International Affairs in London on 27.3.00, Mr Michael Meacher, Britain's environment minister, said that the World Trade Organisation risks being gravely damaged by 'bullheaded' efforts to launch a new trade round without first securing support from developing countries.
