Working and ageing: Guidance and counselling for mature learners

This publication results from proceedings of the workshop, 'Supporting longer working lives: Guidance and counselling for ageing workers', organised by Cedefop in autumn 2010. It reviews factors contributing to successful active ageing from various angles and examines contemporary approaches to guidance and counselling. It also presents several good practice examples of measures and practices launched in EU Member States. The analysis and results reveal encouraging signs of progress but, at the same time, indicate that much remains to be done to promote integration of ageing workers into the labour market and society.
