Twinning has been part of Europe’s life since the early 1950’s, bringing people together across frontiers. It continues to grow and evolve, yet it can still be difficult to find enough reliable, up-to-date information on twinning in one single place. This is why the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) has created this website. It has a dual purpose: to provide information on twinning, and to help areas to find a twinning partner. |
