The Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union was created in November 1994 to meet the translation needs of the the other decentralised Community agencies. Today it translates for over 36 Community agencies, institutions and other bodies. Its second mission is to actively participate in the co-operation between the EU's translation services.
