The European Forums take place in Florence and Madrid twice a year. The Electricity Regulatory Forum (Florence) seeks to create a functioning electricity market within the internal market of the EU. It was established by the European Commission, in collaboration with regulators and others, in 1998. Participants of the European Forums include National Regulatory Authorities, Member States, the European Commission, transmission System Operators, electricity traders, consumers, network users and power exchanges. |
