The European Administrative School (EAS) came into existence on 10 February 2005. It is an EU inter-institutional initiatve (European Parliament, the Council, the Commission, the Court of Justice, the Court of Auditors, the European Economic and Social Committee, the Committee of the Regions and the European Ombudsman). Its aim is to promote cooperation between the institutions in the area of training, to support the spread of common values and harmonised professional practices, and to create synergies in the use of human and financial resources. |
