The United States is to try and win European Union support for an international plan for the reconstruction of Iraq. The US Under-secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs is to meet in Brussels on 26 March 2003 with European Union officials. However, it is anticipated he will meet serious reservations from European countries that do not want to be seen endorsing the US war in Iraq |
