EU Ministers responsible for matters relating to sports held a videoconference on 1 December 2020. The agenda included the following items:

  • Debate on the challenges faced in organising international sporting events and whether an increased exchange at EU level is required, based on a report prepared by the Council Presidency;
  • Briefing on a Council Resolution concerning a EU Work Plan for Sport;
  • Briefing on a set of Council Conclusions concerning the promotion of cross-sectoral cooperation for the benefit of sport and physical activity;
