This study was conducted in 2002 by IMIR (Institute für Migrations und Rassismusforschung), Hamburg, Germany, on behalf of the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia (EUMC). The aim of the study was to identify websites and website characteristics which promote diversity and intercultural values. The report includes recommendations for politicians and policy makers as well as recommendations for teachers, schoolchildren and parents.

Please note that the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia (EUMC) was replaced by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) in 2007. This document does not appear to be available on the FRA website.
