Unions and employers step into new social dialogue design

Report from a 'Forum of Social Partners' called 'The role of social dialogue in ensuring economic growth and qualitative work places', Riga, 31 March 2015.

The main goal was to exchange experience among the EU Member States and social partners’ organisations by promoting the transfer of best practices. The discussions focused on the role of social dialogue in ensuring economic growth, the country’s competitiveness and the creation of quality jobs, and on strengthening social dialogue and the challenges faced in the EU. The results of the discussions were aimed to help Member States to improve social dialogue in the regions and facilitate the involvement of social partners in policy action.
