UEFA President Platini Calls for European Sports Police Force

On the heels of a heartfelt speech about the need to maintain soccer's essential values to the Council of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly (PACE), 24 January 2008, UEFA chief Michel Platini called for the creation of a police task force committed to fighting violence in soccer stadiums.
