Date: 18/10/01 By THE financial interests of two more MEPs have been posted on the Internet following a campaign spearheaded by European Voice. The declarations by Spanish deputy Pedro Marset Campos and Austrian Hans Kronberger have now been posted on the Parliament's website (www.europarl.eu.int). Both said they had not registered until now because of an "administrative error". Independent Kronberger, an author, praised European Voice for its part in pressing all MEPs to register online. He said: "I am all for transparency and applaud your efforts because I believe this is in the public interest. I have nothing to hide and the fact that my name did not appear on the register until now is a genuine mistake which has now been put right." A spokesman for Campos said that but for a "mistake" the left-winger's name would have already appeared on the register. Financial declarations by members were posted online for the first time in July. They are not, however, immediately visible: the document detailing interests has to be downloaded first.
