This eBook was jointly produced by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), on behalf of HM Government, and the Centre for Economic Policy Research CEPR). It’s purpose was to provide background material for a high-level conference in London on 18 October 2012, organised and hosted by HMG and the European Commission, titled ‘Twenty years on – the UK and the future of the Single Market’.
