In a press briefing, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu insisted Turkey had never advocated military intervention in Syria. But reading between the lines, what was clear from Davutoğlu’s statements was that Ankara had shifted its policy on Syria to reflect Washington’s.
