Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu unveiled on 24 November 2015 a new cabinet which was seen by media as full of loyal allies of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan - including his son-in-law, Berat Albayrak, who was named energy minister.

The announcement of the new lineup comes after the snap election on 1 November 2015 where the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), co-founded by Erdoğan, regained the majority it had unexpectedly lost in the June 2015 general election.
