Turkey as a center for innovation and investment

In order to continue its recent economic success Turkey needs to establish an environment that enables industry to invest in research and development and develop its own advanced technology. One element of this environment would be a high-technology focused industrial policy that encourages and supports these activities. Another important issue is the quality of research at our universities. Here, too, we need an initiative that not only improves the quality of our higher education but also our human capital.
