Formal meetings of the Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council in 2017: + Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council, 27 February 2017 A meeting of the Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council was held on 4-5 December 2017. The agenda includes the following topics: + Analysis of the progress made on a proposal updating privacy rules for electronic communications (ePrivacy); + Policy debate on a draft regulation on the free flow of non-personal data; + Briefing on the state of play of negotiations on the proposed European electronic communications code; + Information on conclusions approved by the Council of the European Union concerning cybersecurity and a draft action plan for their implementation; + Assessment of progress on the proposals relating to market access and social aspects, which are part of the 'first mobiliy package'; + Policy debate on the road charging proposals, including the 'Eurovignette' directive; + Assessment of progress on the proposed regulation on safeguarding competition in air transport; + Adoption of conclusions on the progress in trans-European transport networks (TEN-T) and the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), on digitalisation of transport and on the mid-term evaluation of the Galileo, EGNOS and the European GNSS agency; + Presentation on the second package of mobility proposals; + Presentation by the Bulgarian presidency of the Council of the European Union of its work programme on relevant topics to the meeting. |
