Trade Commissioner addresses audience on relations between the European Union and South Africa

The European Commissioner for Trade addressed an audience of businessmen and researchers in South Africa on 13 February 2006.

The Commissioner highlighted the good trade relations between South Africa and the European Union. He also mentioned ongoing negotiations regarding an Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) with seven SADC members and wished for South Africa to become more involved in these talks.
