Tories would turn back EU clock, says Redwood

According to the UK's Conservative Party spokesman on deregulation, John Redwood, a Conservative Government may have to renegotiate UK membership of the European Union's single market to reverse 'excessive regulation' of the UK economy. In an interview with the Financial Times, Mr Redwood went on to say that the Conservative Party may go as far as reconsidering the entire legal basis of British membership of the EU.
