On 11 March 2005, Eurochambres (Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry) gathered business leaders and representatives from think tanks at a 'Business Forum' in the framework of the 'Lisbon Mid-Term Review' and the Spring European Council, 22-23 March 2005. On the agenda: the state of the European economy, the measures and reforms needed and messages to the European leaders gathering at the European Summit. Eurochambres presented its latest study on the competitiveness gap between Europe and the United States measured in time. The study was carried out in collaboration with Professor Pavle Sicherl from the University of Ljubljana.
