The Committee considered the role of national parliaments in the EU and the relationship they have with the European Parliament. The Committee also questioned John Dunne, Chairman of the Industrial Development Agency (IDA), and Frank Ryan, Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Ireland, about the possible ramifications of the referendum result for Irish businesses abroad and whether it had implications for attracting investment into the country.
