The internal market for services is not as developed as that of goods. The Services Directive aims to address this by reducing barriers to intra-EU services trade. This study by international consultancy firm, Copenhagen Economics, estimates the potential economic gains for the UK of implementing the adopted Directive using the Copenhagen Economics Trade Model.
