The London School of Economics' Centre for Economic Performance carried out a study The Local Economic Effects of Brexit shedding light upon the local economic impact of Brexit. It concluded that it was the richer cities, predominantly in the south of England, that would be hit hardest by Brexit, with this effect particularly apparent in areas specialised in services.
