Summary: This article aims to address the impact of Croatia’s and potential further EU accessions on the Union’s institutional structure and decision-making. The discussion will rely on two combined methods of analysis. The article takes into consideration the impact of the 2004 and 2007 enlargements. Second, the research will rely on the analysis of six indicators chosen as relevant for reaching the conclusions on the impact prognosis. These indicators were formulated as questions in oral or written interviews conducted with a number of Croatian, Member States’, and EU officials taking part in the meetings and/or involved in the work of the Council, the Commission, and the European Parliament. |
