The aim of this Statistics in Focus is to examine the extent to which women and men in employment across Europe have variable as opposed to fixed working hours. This study is based on data collected for a special ad hoc module of the EU Labour Force Survey on work organisation and working-time arrangements conducted in 2004. The focus is on persons aged 25-49. |
