The Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) has been identified by the European Union as a cornerstone of its strategy of fighting the spread of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). Given that the next NPT Review Conference is scheduled for May 2005, the EU Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) organised a seminar, on 10 December 2004, on EU perspectives for that conference. |
