As part of the European Semester, the main pillar of Europe's new economic governance, the Commission puts forward every year the 'country-specific recommendations' (CSRs). This background analysis provides an overview of specific recommendations to the EU Member States in the field of employment and social policies. It also includes a brief 'statistical' comparison between the CSRs for 2015-16 and those presented by the Commission and adopted by the European Council in 2011 and 2012, 2013 and 2014. |
