It is reported that avian flu has killed 2,600 turkeys at a Suffolk farm in the United Kingdom, February 2007. The flu has been confirmed as the H5N1 virus, which can be fatal if it is passed on to humans. The 159,000 other turkeys on the farm will also have to be slaughtered. |
