Undeclared work can be defined as work which is in itself legal but is not declared to the authorities for tax, social security and/or labour law purposes. In March 2008, the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions published this report and 28 case studies showing the different approaches, as well as the effectiveness, of specific policy measures and their transferability. The case studies provide examples of policy measures used in five countries – Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Poland and the United Kingdom. To access the case studies, please click on the Related Url.
