Syria: EU adds 10 persons to list of those under sanctions against the regime

On 27 October 2016, the Council added 10 persons to the list of those targeted by EU restrictive measures against the Syrian regime for being responsible for the brutal repression against the civilian in Syria, benefiting from or supporting the regime, and/or being associated with such persons.

This resolution brought to 217 persons the total amount of persons targeted by a travel prohibition and an asset freeze.
