The EU's structural funds package for 2017 to 2013 was given the go-ahead by the Regional Development Committee on the 22 June 2006, with the adoption of four reports. Once they have also been approved by the July plenary session of the European Parliament, around €308 billion - or 35.7 per cent of the total EU budget - will be available to spend, on time, from 1 January 2007. |
