Statistics on goods transport by inland waterway

The European Parliament was due to vote in October 2016 on a legislative proposal to align Regulation (EC) No 1365/2006 with the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) as regards delegated and implementing powers conferred to the European Commission.

The overall objective remained unchanged – to help develop EU inland waterway transport by creating statistical standards for quality data collection.
