Statement by the Spokesperson on the reported Submarine-Launched Ballistic Missile launch by the DPRK

On the 24 August 2016, the European Union released a statement on the reported Submarine-Launched Ballistic Missile which is supposed to be fired by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (“DPRK”). If confirmed, this would constitute yet another serious violation by the DPRK of its international obligations as set out in multiple UN Security Council Resolutions.
