Squabbling over pan-European funds

Trade associations vary in their effectiveness. It appears some fund managers think their associations are not doing enough to represent their interests in political circles. At least, that is one reading of the report put out by an industry thinktank in January 2009 calling for a bigger role for Ucits, the pan European fund structure, in long-term savings
