Specialist groups to take stock of Action Plan

As the legislative phase of the Financial Services Action Plan (FSAP) draws to a close, the Commission wishes to launch a wide-ranging and open review to take stock of the state of integration of Europe's financial markets. As the first phase in this process, four high level expert groups covering the sectors of banking, insurance, securities and asset management have been set up. The reports from these groups will be made public (including on this web-site) in April 2004. These reports will serve as the basis for a second phase of open consultation and debate.
