Spanish study points to benefits of immigration

In an analysis by the Catalan state savings bank and the Autonomous University of Barcelona, it was suggested that Spain's output per capita might have fallen slightly over the past 10 years instead of growing by an average of 2.6 per cent, had it not been for the influx of more than 3m immigrants. The study calculated the benefits of immigrants to the economy.
