The government of Slovenia fell on a no-confidence vote on the 20 September 2011. However, Slovenian MPs would still vote on whether to accept the second Greek bail-out and strengthened euro rescue fund, the EFSF on the 27 September 2011.

A General Election was likely to be held before the end of 2011.
