Sikorski resigns following eavesdropping revelations

Radosław Sikorski, the speaker of Poland's parliament and former foreign minister, resigned on 10 June 2015 following an eavesdropping scandal that rocked the country's centre-right government.

Polish Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz said on the same day that three ministers connected to the scandal had also tendered their resignations - treasury minister Włodzimierz Karpiński, sport minister Andrzej Biernat and health minister Bartosz Arłukowicz.
