Article reports that two Serbian policemen suffered wounds in a grenade attack on the 9 July 2009 as they patrolled a tense ethnic Albanian area near the boundary with Kosovo.

The attack took place in Lucane, near Bujanovac, one of the main towns in the Presevo Valley, whose predominantly ethnic Albanian population nurtures hopes of seceding and joining Kosovo.
