Bosnian state television broadcast in June 2009 several video clips it said show war crimes fugitive Ratko Mladic living freely in Serbia despite genocide charges filed against him by the Hague-based UN tribunal.

Serbian officials, anxious to minimise any damage to their hopes of joining the European Union, vigorously denied any suggestion that they knew where the general was hiding.
