The Serbian government and representatives of Kosovo-Metohija's interim institutions resumed talks that were launched in Vienna in October 2003 as experts from both sides met in Pristina on 4 March 2004 to discuss problems in the province's energy supplies. But the more sensitive issue of Kosovo's status - whether it should remain part of Serbia and Montenegro or become independent - will not be on the agenda.
