Select bibliography on minority languages in the European Union, 2nd ed.: The European Bureau for Lesser Used Languages has published a new and expanded edition of its 'Select bibliography on minority languages in the European Union'. This provides over 2,000 references to sources of information on autochthonous regional or minority languages in the EU, including the three new Member States, Austria, Finland and Sweden. Sources listed include magazines and important periodicals which deal with the linguistic minorities in general. References are grouped according to eight themes: general works; the use of the language in public services, politics and administration; the use of the language in legislation, the law and justice; the use of the language in school and education; the use of the language in the media; culture, history, folklore, spiritual life; economic and social life; migration, transfrontier contacts. Full bibliographical details are given for all references, including a brief abstract in many cases.
