Security certification practice in the EU: Information security management systems – A case study

This report aims at providing input for the adoption of a framework on privacy certifications, as well as for eGovernment certification in Europe. It examines current practices regarding security certification in the European Union and provides a short overview of existing information technology security certification schemes in eleven European Union Member States: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Slovakia and the United Kingdom.
