The UK Government and Devolved Administrations launched their new Strategic Framework for Sustainable Development, 'One future - different paths', on 7 March 2005. This was launched in conjunction with the UK Government's new strategy for sustainable development, 'Securing the Future'. The Strategy sets out the Government's objectives for four key priority areas: sustainable consumption and production, climate change and energy, protecting natural resources and environmental enhancement and sustainable communities. |
