Article reports on claims that the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has secret jails in Eastern Europe to interrogate terror suspects, and more specifically, in Poland and Romania. The latter have vehemently denied the allegations. However, a separate line of inquiry has produced records of US aircraft stopping in countries such as Spain, Ireland and Switzerland, and it has been suggested they were carrying suspects for interrogation.
