Se reinicia el Consejo de Ministros de Pesca de la UE con una nueva propuesta de TAC y cuotas [The EU Council of Fisheries Ministers reconvenes with a new proposal for TACs and quotas]

Following three days of bilateral meetings between EU member states and the European Commission, the plenary session of the EU Council of Fisheries Ministers reconvened in Brussels on 19 December 2002 and presented a new fisheries proposal for 2003. The Spanish Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Miguel Arias Cañete, stated that the Spanish delegation still had some reservations about the the proposed TACs (Total Allowable Catches) and quotas.
