The Committee considered an amended proposal (COM(2003) 33) for a Regulation laying down specific hygiene rules for food of animal origin. The Committee also welcomed the chairman and delegation from the administration committee of the Finnish Parliament, together with the Finnish ambassador, who came to Ireland to hear about the work of the Joint Committee on Enterprise and Small Business, the Irish Parliament in general and to discuss other topical issues. |
