Report of a Nature poll in the spring of 2016 of nearly 2,000 researchers living in the EU, both inside and outside the UK on their views on the possible withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

Most of the polled researchers thought that a British exit would harm science in the United Kingdom and in the EU at large.

Separately, 150 fellows of the Royal Society wrote a letter to The Times in March 2016 calling for the UK to remain in the EU.
