This is a transcript of a speech made by Dominique Moisi, Senior Advisor, Institut Français des Relations Internationales, on 16 April 2012 at Chatham House, London. Speaking before the French presidential election, Mr Moisi argued that the campaigns of Nicolas Sarkozy and François Hollande have focused largely on the contrasting personal styles of the candidates. With Hollande expected to win the second round, the speaker said that one should not expect too much difference in terms of policy. |
