Russia attacked over policies and rights

The policies of Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, were strongly criticised on 24 February 2005 by his former Prime Minister, Mikhail Kasyanov. On the same day, the European Court of Human Rights found Russian authorities guilty of human rights offences in Chechnya.
